Have you ever seen a Schwarzwälder Fuchs? : I just happend to be out trying to get some photos for the latest EPN assignment (shoot horses or horse related at f5.6), and these nice folks came walking up trhe road. I thought the horses were Halflingers until I got up close to them. They were quite large (wide and nicely rounded!) to say the least! I only took a few as this couple had gotten a late start and I did not want to hold them up. LOVED the manes!

"The Color of Love" is For Sale : The Color of Love, or lovey, is a 15 hand Arab/Saddlebred mare bred by my friend Sharon. She is 11 this year and is looking to start a life in a new home. Sharon needs to cut down on her horses due to back problems so she is for sale. She is royally bred as her dam is a Barbary++ daughter, and her sire was Sunhaven Color Guard. She should produce color if bred to a paint. The first 5 photos were taken this past February on a freezing cold day! I thought my hands were going to fall off! The remainder of them were taken this week (September 12th).

Seans New Home : Sean (Etiw's Finale) is now living in Bridgewater with his new owner. Becky can ride him anytime she wants so I went along to visit. Well, he had not been ridden in a while and was a real brat!! I was there to shoot some candid's but wound up giving her a "how to control a spoiled and over weight horse" lesson!! His new owner came home and hopped on one of his other horses to keep him company for a while which helped. He has made very close friends with a yearling foal and did not want to be away from him for one moment.
