On July 1st, the March to Yorktown
http://www.marchtoyorktown.org/) settled on the Monroe Green. It was to commemorate the role of the French Army in the American Revolution. You can read about it at the above link. I went there for the horses as the Second Govenors Horse Guard participated
http://thehorseguard.com/index.html). Their uniforms were beautiful and I could not stop shooting them. A standout was a horse by the name of Patton (yes, after the general). He was so photogenic, I took a ton of photos of him as you will see (he is the Clydesdale Gelding, the biggest horse there).
I may have gone there for the horses but wound up shooting a lot of other photos, enjoy!
