David Bosco

This is was taken when David was not quite eighteen and a half in May of 2000, he was on his way to a prom. this was little over a year before Paranoid Schizophrenia manifested itself. This was taken in October 2005, and we could not get him to smile.

The next three photos were taken on David's 25th birthday, two and a half weeks before his suicide. They are rare moments of him smiling and having a good time with his sister Adrianne, brother in law Fred and Fred's youngest daughter Claire.

I always loved this one.

David did not believe he was good enough to draw people, so I challenged him to do just one. He copied this off of a magazine cover, one he used to subscribe to that I cannot remember the name of. Her name is Willa Ford, and I hope she does not mind his rendition of her.

David drew this and the next two drawings when he was in high school (they were drawn with colored pencil). I never realized that there was a dragon in the photo (the one just below the moon) until I scanned it to post it here.

The following photos were taken on a cell phone camera later in the afternoon after David's funeral. It is over the spot in the Naugatuck State Forest where his body was found. Funny thing is, it never rained, it was sunny out the whole day. Thank you Valerie for taking the time to stop on the highway to take these. I love you!!

This is David's cat Lilu (leelu). She chose David and he was her daddy. We take special care of her because she was so special to David.

David's love for animals was evident at a very young age. This was taken in the summer of 1984 so he is about three and a half here.
